Oh springtime where are you?

This is a song that Hannah learned from the TV show Little Einsteins.  The words go like this,
Oh yes, oh yes, it's springtime
Oh yes, oh yes, it's springtime
Oh yes, it's springtime.

We thought maybe if we sang it out in the snow, it would here us and come faster.

Another day off...where is springtime!!!

Oh yes... another snow day, even though it is suppose to be spring.  Well, I figured since we are going to be home and there is all that snow out there again, we might as well make the most of it. So we bundled up and went out to play. Actually first we had a photo shoot of my pretty little girl.  Then we put on the snow gear and got serious.  The snow was great packing snow, so we built another snowman...just one this time. (Last time we made three- the picture is at the bottom-that was another snow day.) We also made some snow angels, ate some snow, and did some super fast sledding, as Hannah would say.  The quote of the day was when we were sitting down in the snow trying to take some pictures and we sat up, then she looked at me and said, "We make a great team, Mama," and she gave me a high five.

Showing some love!!!

Nothing like nice, clean snow to replenish the body.

Our 3 bluish snowmen that we made on another
snow day- Mama, Hannah, and Baba!

Roller Skating for Real!!!

Since Hannah received her roller skates, she has been doing it at least once a week. When I mentioned to Baba that skate night was coming up for Awana, he looked at me and said, "You know we have to take Hannah skating."  To be honest, I never even thought about it, but once he said that, I said, "Oh you are right."  I don't know about any of you, but when I go roller skating, I need about 15 minutes or so to get used to it and then I am fine. Well I never really had that time, because Hannah was ready to dive in right away. I must say she did a really good job and only really fell a couple of times. She skated better by herself, because when we held her hands, she wanted us to pull her along and she wanted to jump.  She had a really good time and so did we.

Hugging the wall!

Holding on tight!

Getting better...nothing to hold on to.

Great times with family!!!
