Happy Gotcha Day Sweet Girl!!

Wow! Is it really that time again?!! Three years ago today around 3:15 p.m. we held our precious baby girl for the first time. We still can't wrap our minds around what a blessing God has given to us!  She has truly changed our world for the good, even through the challenging moments. Although she has changed so much in her looks and the things that she can do, she still continues to love us with that unconditional love and continues to bless us every day!  We thank God daily for the opportunity He has given to us and we pray that He will give us many more Gotcha days!

One thing we noticed this year was the leaves are still on the trees even though it is the same time of the year.

Hannah chose these 2 trees this year.

We normally take her to the Great Wall because it is the one time we eat Chinese for the year. But it always turns out that she eats French fries, so this year we decided to let her choose. With no hesitation, she chose Pizza Hut! She ate one piece of pizza and lots of peaches, jello, pudding, and mandarin oranges.

 Love you Sweet girl!!

Pumpkin Hunting and... the finished product!

We wanted to take Hannah to a pumpkin patch this year, but it didn't work out, so instead we took her to the house down from the high school so she could still pick out her own pumpkin. It turned out to be just as fun and she found just the right one!

So many to choose from....

Then of course we had to help Baba clean them out. Mama tried to get Hannah to dig in and pull out the yucky stuff, but she was going for that.  She decided to use a spoon instead.

The tall one is Mama's, the middle is Hannah's, and the short
and wide one is Baba's. That was Baba's idea last year.

Oh yeah, we bought an extra one so that Hannah could paint...

it didn't turn out like we thought, but she still had a good time painting it. Mama helped put the face on

Fall Pictures

Another year has come and gone.  Can't believe that it is that time of year again when the leaves are changing and the weather is getting colder.  You will notice in the pictures that Hannah isn't wearing any shoes, so the weather is actually nice, but the cold came right after that! We decided to chop some limbs off our pine tree and then Mama got the brilliant idea of planting mums underneath. They actually turned out pretty nice, so we decided to have Hannah pose beside them.

"Can you see me, Mom?"

"CHEESE!"

This is the picture that tells you that she is finished taking pictures!!!

Some miscellaneous pictures...

If you ever travel to Gulf Shores, make sure you take a trip to Lulu's. It is a restaurant owned and ran by Lucy Buffet, Jimmy Buffet's wife. We were told that Lucy actually does work there a few days a week.  They have really good food and there is usually a live band every night. Of course if you don't like Jimmy Buffet, then not a good place to go. :) And again, a very long wait, but worth it.  They have other activities that you can do while waiting for your table.

Just me being silly...

This is the entrance to Souvenir City.  I knew it as the
shark place thanks to the Harman family.

This is what happens when she shops with her Baba!!!!

Someone else's beautiful sand village.

Saw this the last evening we were walking on the beach.  Very Cool!!!

Capturing the full moon the night it was supposed to be at its biggest.

Thank you Pastor Smith and Judy for your hospitality on the way
down and back home. It was so wonderful to spend some time with you.
