Anyone want to shoot some Hoops?

Everyone knows how much our family loves basketball and we hope some day Hannah will love it too, so we are trying to start early.  We know that she will probably choose to be a dancer or play the violin, and we are ok with that, but hopefully she will find a sport to play too.

A few weekends ago while Baba was away at the State Finals, Hannah and I decided to work outside to clean up some leaves and branches left from the winter.  So I worked... and she decided to help for a while, then went and sat in my chair to read a book....

What a hard life...

Carnival Fun!!!!!!!!!

On Friday, the 16th, Lincoln had our school carnival.  While Mama was in charge of taking the tickets when the kids came in for Just Dance, Hannah made herself comfortable in the middle of all the kids. She danced away with the rest of the kids. She loves music and will dance to any sound.  I actually caught her today turning on the TV and dancing to Hawaiian music.

Toward the end of the night, Baba came to pick Hannah up, but before she left, we had to visit the Kiddie Land in the gym.  She did a little fishing and caught a lizard, then chose a dum-dum sucker ( her favorite color-pink), then crawled through the tunnel. She also enjoyed picking a duck out of the pool, but I didn't get a picture of that. Nor did I get a picture of her stepping in the pool- that ended the night.

                                                                                                                                                           



Preparing Young for Minute to Win It!!

As I was working on the last blog, Hannah decided to sit beside me at the table to drink some juice. Some  empty medicine bottles were sitting on the table beside me.  Hannah decided that she was bored and wanted to stack them. Amazingly she stacked all 6 bottles without my help and without them falling. Of course it took her a few times, but she finally got it...in less than 60 seconds I believe. :) Watch out Minute to Win it!!!

Hannah Singing her ABC's!

So we have been singing the abc song with Hannah for a long time- mostly when she started sitting on the potty last March.  Just lately, she has been saying certain letters with us while we are singing- like p, t, x, z.  Uncle C got her a Leap Frog compooter ( as she calls it) and I downloaded some songs to it. One of them is the abc song. So while we were eating lunch yesterday she was playing with it and when the song started playing, she started singing and said more than I expected... Baba says to me, "You haven't heard her do that?" I said, "Not like that- wow!!!" Mama was impressed and so I grabbed the video camera, then I wanted to cry.  It still amazes us every day what she is learning and saying. We think she will be way too smart for both of us. Hope the video comes through for most of you. If not, sorry.

Our Cinderella!!!

Hannah is already becoming a girly girl wanting her nails painted all the time.  This ballerina outfit and the socks were given to her by Aunt J and Uncle B. I attempted to show her what a ballerina does when they twirl. I couldn't get her to spin, but she did manage to put her arms up.



Pizza,pizza,pizza...

Hannah doesn't have a huge list of foods that she eats besides fruits, vegetables, pasta, rice, snacks and sweets, but she has decided that pizza is really good. We ordered Pizza Hut on the night of our birthdays and she decided she wanted her own piece. She did really good with it as you can see.
